Hastings Insurance is an Irish, family-owned insurance broking company operating in eight branches in Ballina, Claremorris, Castlebar, Dublin, Galway City, Sligo, Tuam and Westport.

Hair & Beauty

Hastings Insurance is committed to building on the success of our Hair & Beauty Scheme. The scheme provides cover for a broad range of treatments and we are continuously focused on keeping up to date with innovations and trends in the industry. We provide two treatment cover options the more extensive of which can include cover for micro-blading, micro-needling and sunbeds.

Our policy cover allows renting a chair or sub-letting a room within your business but this does not indemnify any person renting a chair or room who should maintain their own insurance cover as appropriate.

Our policy can be extended to include Training Academies. 

 

In addition to your insurance placement, our quotation is inclusive of the following services:

  • A full review of existing covers and advice on any gaps in cover
  • Technical Support in relation to the understanding of policy wordings
  • Claims Assistance and Management

  • Property:

    • All risks cover for the contents of your Salon including the furniture, basins, mirrors, chairs, professional equipment and stock

     

    Business Interruption:

    • Gross profit protection in the event that property damage prevents your business from functioning

     

    Public/Products Liability:

    • Protecting you from legal action taken against you by the public
    • Everything from slips or trips in your salon to adverse reactions to hair treatments such as dyeing, cutting, styling etc.
    • Treatment cover for a wide array of procedures
    • Work away cover for mobile hairdressers and beauticians

     

    Employer’s Liability:

    • Providing cover for injury, death or illness to an employee, provided you are found to be legally responsible 

     

    Commercial Legal Protection:

    • Covers legal costs including solicitors/barristers fees, court costs, expenses for expert witnesses, attendance expenses and accountants’ fees
