Drone Insurance

There has been an increase in the use of drones, or unmanned ariel vehicles (UAVs), for both personal use and in business has been in recent years. Liability insurance for drones is not normally included in your home or business insurance and so to insure your drone, a specialist drone insurance policy is a must.


With access to drone insurance specialists, we cater for and businesses that use drones and need liability insurance associated with use of the drone and also for those that may require accidental damage insurance for the drone itself.

UAV /Drone Third Party Liability Insurance

This insurance covers : 

  • Compensatory damages in respect of accidental bodily injury (fatal or otherwise) caused by the UAV.
  • Compensatory damages in respect to accidental damage to third party property caused by the UAV.

UAV / Drone All Risks Insurance – “Hull Insurance”

If you choose this option the policy cover will : 

  • Replace or repair accidental loss or damage to the UAV.
  • Includes disappearance if the UAV is unreported for 60 days.
  • Includes reasonable emergency expenses incurred for the immediate safety of UAV up to 10% of
    amount insured.

Extra options if you select Hull Insurance : 

  • Option to include cover for payload.
  • Options to cover ground station equipment.
  • Options to cover spares.
